About

Luciana Andrea Sessa, industrial designer, project manager and UX/IxD specialist based in Buenos Aires, Argentina

As an Industrial Designer who graduated from the University of Buenos Aires, ranked among the world's leading universities, I was part of the academic team for Introduction to the History of Design and Modern Architecture.

After graduating, I pursued a Postgraduate degree in Project Management, endorsed by the Project Management Institute, and specialized in User Experience and Interaction Design, both at the National Technological University.

I registered my brand (INPI Newsletter No. 4865, Trademark Registration No. 3,086,582). My products have been featured at the store of the Proa Foundation Contemporary Art Center and presented on Argentine national public television.

My work has been published in national and international editorial publications, including 90+10 Magazine and Garland Magazine, and has also been highlighted by Art Jewelry Forum in its Have You Heard section.

Currently, I am a Project Manager at a multinational company, leading cross-functional teams to deliver engineering and technology projects that create business value.

Alongside my professional role, I maintain a personal design practice dedicated to design research and the development of contemporary objects through geometric abstraction.

"My practice explores how observations of nature are translated into contemporary objects through geometric abstraction and industrial design. Rather than reproducing nature literally, I seek to reveal its underlying principles through form, geometry, and materiality."

Selected articles:

90+10 is an Argentine magazine that tells stories of people and original ideas, with an interdisciplinary perspective on creative culture. Publishes interviews, news, features, reports, and opinion columns, seeking to learn alongside its readers: answering questions, providing solutions, entertaining, and inspiring to enhance everyday life. It focuses on manifestations of design in all its forms and how they influence contemporary lifestyle.

Garland Magazine is based in Australia, provides a space to connect different cultures. It is a partner of World Crafts Council – Australia, a national entity of the World Crafts Council – Asia Pacific. Garland is a platform for thoughtful writing about beautiful objects—those considered to be of value. As much as books, objects provide a place for stories that are important to us. Through these objects, we can live with stories in what we see, wear, touch, hear, and smell in our everyday lives.
